To this if you have these 4 things.  (Costs Some money though)

 

  1.  A router with gigabyte ethernet or better, (2.5gb) (routers typically have 100, 1000, or 2.5ghz speeds). You need to find this info, or else your bottleneck becomes the router if you have an old one. (100mbs, rather than 1000mbs)
  2. Cat 5e or better ethernet cable. Each cable is rated for different speeds. (cat5e is rated at 1000mbs, and 2.5gbs, cat 6e is better, if running ethernet use the latest version, I think cat8 if possible)  Avoid flat ethernet cables which can't handle longer runs because the cable is flat and not twisted(shielding each individual cable from noise)
  3. Gigabyte or 2 gigabyte internet speed from your internet provider. (If you choose the later, Make sure your router has 2.5gbs throughput.)

  4. Your Mac, Ipad, or pc or tablet has ethernet that is rated for 1gb or 2.5gb. (You can buy a usb 3.1 to ethernet 2.5ghz adaptor that plugs into your usb port if you don't have ethernet.)

    Missing even one of these steps bottlenecks your internet to a slower speed.
